You went into the Polboat Yacht Festival with a dual lens—both as a photographer and a Naval Architecture student. What was the spark that made you feel you needed to be there documenting the industry in 2026?
As a new student, I wanted to understand how the foundational principles I’m learning translate to the real world. I want to avoid the trap of studying for years only to find the industry looks completely different. The 'architecture of education' often lacks a smooth transfer of skills, so I’m using my background in design and photography to bridge that gap early, meeting the people and understanding the system’s unwritten rules before I even graduate.
