A series of high-energy short-form videos capturing the spirit of AI-powered development at Cursor's community events in Krakow.

Details

Collaborating with the Cursor team, I documented two 'Cafe Cursor' events to showcase the local developer and designer ecosystem.

By blending handheld cinematography with photography and motion design, the videos translate the technical energy of the community into a compelling visual narrative for social platforms.

When you walked into the Cafe Cursor events in Krakow, what was the specific energy you felt you had to capture?

Since I also code and design, I instantly felt the buzz of potential. It was this rush of excitement to find people who understand you in a challenging way—like old friends you’ve never met, with whom you might just build something extraordinary.

My goal was to capture that raw, unfiltered reality, but with a touch of beauty and a minimalistic, design-focused vibe.

You produced these videos on-site, almost in real-time. How does that speed affect the final product?

I was layering the edits and motion in my head while I was shooting. It’s not about perfection; it’s about capturing the energy.

If I had stayed on the edits for days, it wouldn't have the same feeling. My role was to amplify and extend that 'bliss' effect so people could see it on their way home from the event. The films become a part of the event itself.

How did the mix of photography and glitchy motion design help tell the story of an AI-powered developer meetup?

It amplified the build-up of specific sequences. I used longer shots interspersed with high-energy wide angles, mixed with mosaic and glitchy motion effects.

It allowed me to more accurately reflect the vibe of the moment—that fast, iterative spirit of innovation.
