An experimental video art piece that transforms the urban landscape of Krakow into a series of abstract, kaleidoscopic symmetries.

Details

Shot and edited entirely on an iPhone, this project explores the boundaries of urban recognition by manipulating video frames to create impressionistic shapes.

The city's architecture and movement are reimagined as fluid, geometric patterns that challenge the viewer's perception of space.

Process

  1. Captured raw urban footage across Krakow using mobile cinematography
  2. Experimented with frame rotation and mirroring to identify compelling geometric patterns
  3. Applied symmetrical filters to transform recognizable city elements into abstract visuals
  4. Edited the sequences to emphasize the impressionistic and kaleidoscopic flow of the urban environment
